Abilities in Slay.one are skills and passive perks that players than equip on their characters. All players start with a few basic abilities and more can be unlocked using the gold earned from playing matches.

Players have 1200 ability points and each one of the abilities requires a certain amount of points to equip them. Once the points limit is reached, one or more of the currently equipped abilities must be removed to equip other ones.

Active abilities

These abilities must be activated for their effect to take place. Once they are used they will go into a cooldown time. Players can only carry up to 2 active abilities at a time.

Auto Turret Laser Turret Create a turret that shoots enemy units with lasers. 0
Wall Wall Create a wall, that blocks pathing and projectiles. Grenades can be shot over it, though. 0
Teleport Teleport Teleport over a short distance. After using teleport, you can not shoot for 2 sec. 1500
Invisibility Invisibility Makes you almost invisible to enemy units. 0
Acid Grenade Acid Grenade Throw an acid grenade, that causes damage to units and objects over time. 0
HE Grenade HE Grenade Throw a grenade that explodes, dealing major damage to enemy units. 0
Laser Grenade Laser Grenade Throw a grenade that shoots bouncy lasers in all directions upon detonation. 1800
Missle Turret Missile Turret Create a turret that shoots enemy units with missiles 1200
Grenade Turret Grenade Turret Create a turret that shoots enemy units with grenades 1600
Scan Scan Temporarily reveals all units on the minimap. Also increases the visibility of invisible players. 1200
Shield Shield Reduces incoming damage to 10. Only lasts one second. 2000

Passive abilities

These abilities will provide their effect without the need of activating them. There is no limit to how many passive abilities can be equipped at a time.
