Scan is an incredibly useful ability which allows you to see all enemies' positions as red dots on the minimap. It also reveals weapon pickup points’ cooldowns and makes invisible players easier to see. Upgrading scan using ability points increases the duration that it is active for.

Use scan to avoid large clusters of enemies when you have low health and to identify nearby snipers, who are indicated by the target icons on the minimap.
